Legal names: Jake and Elwood
Date of birth (est'd):
June 14, 2009.
We call them: The Blues, the kittens,
the boys. (We have a hard time telling them apart.)
Likes: Taunting the big cats, snuggling
up together. Elwood's a lover. Jake's a fighter.
Dislikes: Not much that we can determine,
yet.
About six weeks after
Mister Boogers died unexpectedly, we came home from a morning
out running errands, to find two small gray kittens on our side
stoop, left with a bowl of cat food. We were originally going
to just foster them for Challenger's House, but it took perhaps
48 hours before they wormed their way into our hearts.
Jake looks and acts
so much like Mister Boogers, that we half suspect they were sent
by him from the afterlife, to cause trouble.
