Laying on Fred and being told what a pretty girl she is. Putting
the smack down on the other cats.
Dislikes: Any other cats trying to encroach upon her territory.
Kara came to us as
a very, very pregnant foster. The day after she arrived here,
she gave birth to four kittens, and subsequently spent six months
raising her babies here and falling in love with us. Her kittens
were all adopted out, and Kara was the last to go to the pet store
to be adopted. After a week and a half of not having her here
(and her not being adopted) we missed her so much that we had
to bring her home. We were concerned that she'd have forgotten
us and living here, but she fit back into place seamlessly.
She's the sheriff in
charge of smackdowns - if there's a fight going on, she has to
rush in and clear up the situation. She considers the entire upstairs
her territory and woe betide the cat who thinks they're just going
to saunter upstairs and hang out without her okay.
