Nicknames: Newtles
(or "Noodles", if you prefer), Newt-a-lewt, Newtie.
Likes: Just about everything;
he's the happiest cat on earth. He particularly likes sleeping
in the basket on top of the canning cabinet, and chasing and killing
small animals, then leaving them by the door.
Dislikes: Having his tummy rubbed too vigorously.
As mentioned here,
when we first saw Newt, we thought he was the father of Miss Momma’s
kittens. The vet said she thought he might be one of her kittens
from an earlier litter (grrrr). At the time, she said she didn’t
think he was completely grown yet. I’d guess he’s somewhere in
the vicinity of two years old now.
We always claim Newt
is “Not ours”, though no one (not even us!) believes us.
