Spanky is our second-oldest cat, and was a
gift from Fred to me our first Christmas together, 1996. He was
purchased at a pet shop, and had some very nasty diarrhea for
a few days. He was a tiny little thing, and couldn't eat solid
cat food at first; we had to feed him baby food. He loves to lay
on his Momma. When his Momma is not available, he loves to lay
on his Daddy. Even sometimes when his Momma is available, he loves
to lay on his Daddy, the little bastard. He's the most skittish
of the bunch, and when he spots a dangerous-looking sock or piece
of paper on the floor, he goes into "slink" mode. A
well-placed stomp of the foot can send him into orbit, and when
he returns to Earth, he invariably walks a few feet away and then
sits down and licks himself. Does not like to have his toes played
with.
Likes: snoozing in the sun, laying on his momma,
laying on his daddy, wandering around howling loudly for no apparent
reason
Dislikes: other kitties laying on his momma
or daddy
Nickname: skitty-boo, skitty-bud, shutUPspanky,
gomer!
